Saturday 29 September

We are delighted that the Soup and Roll lunch on Saturday 29  September raised just over £470 pounds. Thank you to all who worked hard to provide the lunch and all those who attended. 

Sunday 25 August

At the Congregational Meeting on 25 August, 16 people were nominated to form our Nominating Committee.  Following a vote the following people were elected as our Nominating Committee: Ian Cameron (Convenor), Clark Whyte (Clerk to the Committee), Kevin Anderson, Charlotte Begg, Karen Begg, Christine Burnett, Heather Crawford, May Hamilton, Margaret Jackson, David Ross and Christina Stewart. 

Their work is confidential so we will not hear any more until they present a sole nominee as the potential new Minister for our congregation, when a further vote to confirm their choice will take place.

Please pray for them as they carry out this important task.

Sunday 25 August

On Sunday morning 25 August, immediately following the morning service, there will be a Congregational Meeting to elect a Nominating Committee.  The role of the Nominating Committee is to select one person who they will nominate as the new Minister of this Parish.  Immediately following their election, the Nominating Committee will hold a short meeting to elect a chairperson and a clerk from among their number.  You can read the formal edict for this election below:
