More of our "Am Just" family - at the door

posted 29 Jul 2015, 23:37 by St.Serfs Tullibody-Clacks
Have you ever attended one of those churches where a warm welcome was scarcely on the agenda?
Door attendants too busy chatting together…. ?
Members or visitors are allowed to slip past with hardly a greeting ?
Let them find a seat wherever?
What brought you here, Roof will fall in…..

Thankfully that is now generally a thing of the past.  Most churches are genuine and sincere in the warmth of welcome to all who attend worship.

Rather than greeting friends in the slightly narrow aisle inside, our staff prefer to greet the worshippers outside the door.

The additional benefit of being outside is that the duty personnel can draw peoples’ attention to the colourful flowers along the side of the church wall.
By the way that allows us to introduce more of the “Am Just” family

Many in that branch of the family make donations so that the displays are changed for each new season.  Several more of that family are “Am Just” in the garden team. Again, nothing earth shattering, but you should hear the lovely comments of visitors at weddings, baptisms or funerals.

The flows do bring so much pleasure to so many;- A sure reminder of the Creator God whom we worship at Serf’s, who expressed delight when He saw that “all things were beautiful “.
