Doors Open Days is promoted nationally by The Scottish Civic Trust with part sponsorship from Historic Environment Scotland.

The event aims to encourage everyone to appreciate and help to preserve their heritage.

As part of this event St. Serf’s Church will be open on Saturday 28th September  from 1 - 4pm and on Sunday 29th September  from 2- 4pm.

Highlights and new this year are the former Devon Colliery Beam Engine House, returning to the programme after an absence of many years; Tullibody Community Garden, which is encouraging people to grow their own food and eat more healthily; the fascinating Serf, Sauchie and Silver - A Circular Place-Name Walk, where you can find out about the origin of names in the county; and also the Tullibody Heritage Centre.
